Ho Chi Minh Bound

Much to our delight, we found out we will be based in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon). Ho Chi Minh is full iof French influence and is actually known as the "Paris of Southeast Asia."

We will be leaving for Vietnam the beginning of September and will live in Hanoi during our first month. We relocate to Ho Chi Minh in October. Can't wait!

Let the countdown begin!

Our countdown to Vietnam has begun! We will be leaving the States the beginning of September to start our new adventure as Pilots for Air Mekong. We will not have many posts until we arrive in Hanoi, but we can't wait to share our discoveries with you then.

We just married in April and have not been able to honeymoon since, so we are calling this our "Hanoi Honeymoon." We hope that many of our friends and family will be able to visit us on the other side of the world. Especially because we hope they bring us the western treats we feel we can't live without (read: mayonnaise, buffalo hot wing sauce, and trashy American reality show DVDs). So please friends, book those flights!
